Since the inception of TALAR NINA in 2016, humanitarian work has been at the forefront and one of the main reasons Talar created the brand. From raising $10,000 for Lebanon after the disastrous and heartbreaking explosion on August 4th, 2020, to raising close to $8,000 for the people of Artsakh this past September, giving back has always been close to the designer's heart. 

In 2017 and 2018, profits from collections went to the Debi Arach “Moving Forward” Center for children in Gyumri, Armenia’s second largest city. Aimed at the development and education for underprivileged children, Talar will be working with DSA (Developmental Services for Armenia) and The Paros Foundation to help create a brighter future for the Armenian youth.                                                         

A country and it's people close to her heart, Talar has always dreamt of helping improve the lives of the children in Armenia. In the summer of 2016, she visited the Debi Arach Children's Center and was inspired to focus her attention on this project and the needs of these children.

Since its inception, DSA has implemented projects throughout Armenia and Artsakh valued at more than $1,000,000. In 2015, DSA partnered with The Paros Foundation to continue its important work in Armenia.

Formally launched in 2006, the goal of the Paros Foundation is to develop high quality, high integrity, non-governmental organizations in Armenia by significantly upgrading their working environment, providing guidance and needed resources.
