Inspired by the Mughal gardens and 15th and 17th Century Persian Empires, Talar Nina’s Spring/Summer 18 lineup is expressed through intricately embroidered scroll and floral motifs, beautifully combined with easy-to-wear fabrics, from crepes and jacquards to beaded lace.
Originating from the Farsi word pardis, the Paradise collection features the label’s iconic bomber jackets, track pants and joggers. Talar Nina also debuts a selection of printed T-shirts designed in collaboration with Brooklyn-based Iranian graphic designer, Lili Emtiaz.
From a delicate rose pattern, to Talar’s interpretation of paradise, the designs fuse classical elements with modern fashion illustration. Combining the delicate designs seen in Persian manuscripts, an intricate metallic scroll motif accents a charcoal grey jacket while bright pink plays a starring role in the form of a classic cropped bomber jacket and matching A-line skirt.
Crafted with love, to create the ultimate versatile garment, the Armenian designer’s ‘Paradise’ collection can be worn from dusk to dawn in style and comfort.
